Jefferson Wheeler

Prior to joining McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC, Jefferson handled commercial litigation, premises liability, transportation, malpractice matters, PIP litigation, and third party insurance defense. Jefferson brings a wealth of experience to McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC. Jefferson also has prior experience in eDiscovery, counseling startups and forming companies, advising clients with their long-term estate planning goals, litigation in probate courts and employment-based immigration for immigrant workers and other civil matters.

Jefferson obtained his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in the fall of 2014. During law school, Jefferson was a founding member of the school’s Business and Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and a member of the Student Professional Development Committee. Jefferson received the book award in Business Development. Jefferson received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Flagler College in 2011, where he served as President of the Student Government Association.

In his free time, he enjoys assisting his church, local car shows and events.
