Brendan is a dynamic, results-oriented attorney who advises on and litigates complex legal matters across the United States. He regularly assists clients with loss investigations, commercial contracts, and related claims and defenses, with a focus on product liability, professional negligence, personal injury, insurance defense, and construction matters. In addition to litigation, Brendan consults with clients on risk management, contract strategy, and pre-dispute planning in these areas. He works closely with clients to align legal strategy with business goals, representing their interests from initial investigation through resolution in court or alternative dispute resolution.

Before joining McCoy Leavitt Laskey (MLL) in 2020, Brendan practiced as a general practitioner and criminal prosecutor. That background gave him substantial first-chair trial experience, including dozens of jury and bench trials and hundreds of evidentiary hearings, and he has successfully resolved additional claims through settlement conferences and alternative dispute resolution. Whether in the boardroom, the conference room, or the courtroom, Brendan provides practical, business-focused advice to manage risk and advance his clients’ objectives.

Brendan lives in Falmouth, Maine with his family and enjoys traveling, gardening, and playing guitar.
